But how do you respec in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty? The Virtue leveling system breaks down into five different elemental types – wood, fire, earth, metal, and water – each one boosting different aspects of your character’s combat abilities. After defeating him, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty really spreads its wings, and there is a lot to love.In Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Genuine Qi, awarded for beating both standard mobs, mini-bosses, and main story bosses, is used to level up your character’s Virtue. He does prove to be a huge barrier to entry for a lot of players, but he is not indicative of the difficulty of all the bosses and enemies going forward. Zhang Liang is certainly a difficult boss, especially for a tutorial, but with the right knowledge and a little patience, you will conquer him with flying colors. After doing this a couple of times, it should give you the option to use a new ability that will trigger a cutscene and end the fight. While parrying his regular attacks expedites this process, it is possible to dodge his normal attacks and wait until he uses his large spirit attacks to parry. The best way to deal a ton of damage to him is to wait until he does his spirit attack, parry it, then counterattack with your own charged spirit attack. In the second phase, it becomes much more difficult to damage Zhang Liang. Unfortunately, that is easier said than done. This phase serves to introduce a new ability that you unlock, and that means you only have to knock his health down halfway to trigger this ability and end the fight. He does a lot of damage and can overwhelm you really fast. Zhang Liang turns into a mutated monster that can attack with his giant club and his snake-like, tendril arms. After you kill Zhang Liang, the second phase of the boss fight begins.
